Background

Bullwinkle Studios was a joint venture between Classic Media (now "DreamWorks Classics") and Jay Ward Productions that was set up in 2002 by Jay Ward Productions to manage all rights to the Jay Ward Productions library as well as new productions based on said library. In 2022, Ward Productions signed a production and distribution deal with WildBrain for their properties, which led to the venture being dormant.

Logo (2002-October 14, 2014)

Visuals: Over a white background, Bullwinkle J. Moose is seen standing behind a clapperboard with his arms crossed. "BULLWINKLE STUDIOS" is written on the clapperboard.

Trivia: This is not noticeable on the main white background, but if you look at the gray and black background variants, there is a white spot on Bullwinkle's hair.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, a copyright stamp appears below.
  • A version with the logo on a gray background exists.
  • On Mr. Peabody & Sherman and Rocky and Bullwinkle (both 2014), the logo is on a black background.

Technique: Digital ink and paint.

Audio: The closing theme of the show or none.

Availability: Appeared on DVDs of Jay Ward shows, the 2007 revival of George of The Jungle and some games made under the franchise such as George of the Jungle and the Search for the Secret. Also appeared at the end of DreamWorks Animation's 2014 film adaptation of Mr. Peabody & Sherman and the short film Rocky and Bullwinkle; the latter was originally planned to be released as a theatrical short alongside Mr. Peabody & Sherman, but was instead released on the Blu-Ray 3D release of said film.
