Logo (1997-2000)


Visuals: On a black background, there are the words "CANAL+", with "CANAL" in italics, at the left of a yellow rectangle. Below it, there is a yellow rectangle under "CANAL+", and at its right we see "IMAGE", with "IM" in italics. Under the logo "INTERNATIONAL" is seen.

Technique: None, the logo just fading in and out.

Audio: Silent. It is a distributor, so it doesn't have any opening theme playing over it.

Availability: Seen on pre-2000 video and DVD releases of some Criterion Collection movies, like The Third Man. Post-2000 versions plaster this logo with the first StudioCanal logo.
