Background
TorchLight Entertainment was the softcore erotica division of Full Moon Entertainment. It was known for films like Beach Babes from Beyond and Test Tube Teens from the Year 2000 (aka Virgin Hunters). This was later replaced by Surrender Cinema in 1996, though some TorchLight films continued to be released during that time period, even as late as 2001. Cult director David DeCoteau co-ran the TorchLight label, and directed the majority of their titles.

Visuals: The screen is engulfed with flames. The word "TORCHLIGHT" (with the "I" shaped like a torch holder) zooms out filled with fire as the screen turns black. Once it stops zooming, "TORCHLIGHT" turns a solid orange color, and a solid orange flame appears above the "I". The word "E N T E R T A I N M E N T" fades in underneath.
Variants:
- There is a short variant seen mainly on trailers.
- A still variant can be found on the trailer for Beach Babes 2: Cave Girl Island.
Technique: Live action mixed with 2D zooming and fading effects.
Audio: A mystical/triumphant synth fanfare, possibly composed by new age musician David Arkenstone.
Audio Variant: On the trailer for Test Tube Teens from the Year 2000, a different, much darker fanfare can be heard.
Availability:
- Can be found on TorchLight releases from the era such as Beach Babes from Beyond and Test Tube Teens from the Year 2000 (aka Virgin Hunters). However, the SkinMax DVD of the latter film plasters it with the SkinMax logo instead.
- The rare variant with different music can only be found on the trailer for latter film.
- It may be seen on some prints of Beach Babes 2: Cave Girl Island (aka Cave Girl Island) and Blonde Heaven (released to VHS in 2001 as Morgana), but Cinemax broadcasts used the New City Releasing logo instead, while the VHS and DVD releases of the former film used Cult Video instead.
- On the Blu-ray of Beach Babes from Beyond, this is plastered by the third Full Moon Entertainment logo.
