Background

Silver River Productions was a British television production company that was founded in 2005 by Daisy Goodwin that specializes in comedies, documentaries, factual entertainment, and arts. On March 1, 2012, Sony Pictures Television acquired a majority stake in Silver River. In 2013, Goodwin left Silver River Productions until it was shut down in 2015.

Logo (August 30, 2006-2014)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a white curved river being drawn in, creating the letter "S" with the name "silver river" below. Then, a magenta box fades in around the river and we see a smiling small fish jumping out of the water and creating the letter "r". A copyright stamp is seen underneath.

Variants:

  • Most of the time, the word "for" appears under the logo and the logo for the broadcast network (such as BBC, Channel 4, or BBC Three) appears underneath.
  • Sometimes, the logo is aligned to the left.
  • On 638 Ways to Kill Castro, the logo is still.
  • On The Supersizers, The Diets That Time Forgot, and How TV Changed Britain, the logo is in-credit.
  • On the Pulling special, the letter "A" is seen above the Silver River logo, the word "Production" is seen below "silver river", and the word "For" and the BBC Three logo are seen below.

Audio: The closing theme of the show, none, or a weird chime sound.
