Background

Fox Circle Productions was a division of 20th Television. Not much is known about it, but it appeared to have made TV movies and original programming.

Logo (June 1, 1994-March 2, 1995)

Visuals: On a black background, 3 blue searchlights are moving as part of a ring rotates in, revealing a smaller black ring spinning on footage of a sky that fades to black. The searchlights continue to move as the rings zoom in as the space in the black ring fades to solid blue with the searchlights in it. The background fades to black and the text:

F O X C I R C L E
P R O D U C T I O N S

stacked with a line dividing it, appears below via a wiping effect.

Technique: CGI by Novocom in Los Angeles.

Audio: A little piano tune with a flourish at the end or the closing theme of the show.

Availability: Many programs don't mention this at all and any program it helped created usually shows the 20th Television logo instead. It was shown on original programming made for Fox and FX at the time, like The Pet Department and Love and Betrayal: The Mia Farrow Story.
