Atlantic Streamline

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (October 14, 1999-September 13, 2002)

Visuals: The logo starts with an ocean environment with a dark sky, containing a plane flying forward. The logo pans as the plane flies towards the sun and the sky changes to an evening environment. The text "ATLANTIC STREAMLINE", as well as a silver line being sandwiched by the text, fades in at the bottom of the logo.

Variant: For All The Queen's Men, the text is simplified, reading "STREAMLINE".

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Upon beginning, ocean waves and seagull calls are heard. A soft orchestral hum and shimmering sounds are heard along with the sound of the plane. Then a soft trumpet fanfare plays.

Availability: The logo can be seen in the MGM/UA movies, examples include Igby Goes Down, All The Queen's Men, and You're Dead.
