Background

Touchstone Games was a short-lived publishing brand of Disney Interactive Studios. Like its namesake, it was intended to release mature or non-family games. It was launched in 2007, but after releasing only one game in America and distributing another overseas, Disney quickly shut it down.

1st Logo (June 8, 2007)

Visuals: Over a white background is the Touchstone logo, but in silver blue, with the word "Touchstone" below. At the bottom-right corner of "Touchstone" is the text "© Touchstone".

Technique: A still, sprite-based graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen only on the European version of Anno 1701: Dawn of Discovery for the Nintendo DS; the American version was released by Ubisoft.

2nd Logo (February 5, 2008)


Visuals: On a black background, there is a spot of blue light revealing the re-designed Touchstone logo from before. The logo shines.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A whoosh sound, followed by some piano notes.

Availability: It's only seen on the 2008 version of Turok for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
