Background

Kylotonn is a game development company based in Paris, which was formed in 2002 after the closure of 4X Studio. The company launched the KT Racing label in 2014. It was owned by Nacon since 2018.

1st Logo (September 26, 2005-2006)

Visuals: The elements of logo zoom out from right beyond, emitting silver light. The letters are zooming separately. There is an orange shield with a white letter "K" and a black letter "t" on it (all of them having rough borders). Near the downward side of the shield, a bar hangs, with a white word that says "Kylotonn" and a black word "entertainment" (the box backgrounds are opposite colors). The website URL is shown below. The logo shines, then folds via a TV power-off effect.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Three whooshes; when the logo zooms, when the website URL appears, and during the fade-out.

Availability: Can be found on Bet on Soldier games.

2nd Logo (November 27, 2007-)

Visuals: There is the logo panning and zooming as the light plays on K letter. Then the logo becomes black and white. It's an updated version of the previous logo, with clean borders.

Variant: An early version had the logo just zooming in.

Technique: Motion-controlled animation.

Audio: Several electronic sounds.

Availability: First seen in the trailer for Speedball 2. The animated version appeared on Cursed Crusade.
