Background

Beverly Hills Productions (also referred to as Beverly Hills Film Corporation) was an animation studio that made the cartoon The Adventures of Spunky and Tadpole, which ran from 1958-1961.

Logo (September 6, 1958-September 9, 1961)

Visuals: An open curtain shows the words: BEVERLYHILLS P R O D U C T I O N S present with the words present being written in a very compressed, almost unreadable cursive. A pink, sparkling curtain then draws and opens to reveal the show title, The Adventures of Spunky and Tadpole. The show title sparkles and the curtain draws and opens yet again to reveal the titular characters sparkling.

Technique: A still, printed image.

Audio: The Toy Shop Window by Roger Roger.

Audio Variant: The Spanish dub has an upbeat, sung intro rather than an instrumental, and there are several different color palette variants of the logo.

Availability: Can be found on Betamax and VHS releases of Spunky and Tadpole, however, said releases are long out of print.
