Background

Omega Force (stylised on-screen as "ω-Force") is a Japanese video game developer and a division of Koei Tecmo, founded in 1996 by Akihiro Suzuki and Kenichi Ogasawara. It is best known for the Dynasty Warriors video games.

Logo (February 28, 1997-)

Visuals: Over a black background is the silver-metallic scripted letter "ω" revealing and shining, then zooming out to the left. As it does that, the word "Force" appears along with "Produced by" and "OMEGA" in smaller text next to the bottom of the "ω". They all shine.

Variant:

  • There is a still version of the logo.
  • A cropped 21:9 version was shown in the Chinese live-action adaptation of Dynasty Warriors, while a 60fps version was shown in Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War, the PS3 version of Dynasty Warriors 6 and Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires.
  • A 20th anniversary version featured some of the games Omega Force developed in 2016 are reflected in the "ω". After the logo is formed, it doesn't shine and the "Produced by" text were removed, but the shield with the text "20th" on it appears instead.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A whoosh.

Availability: It is seen on games from the Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors and Warriors Orochi series.
