Background

Avenue Pictures is a production company founded by Cary Brokaw, the former head of distribution for Island Alive. Many of its early films would become part of Epic's Beta library, and such films are today owned by MGM through Orion.

Visuals: There is a street perspective sketch. The name "AVENUE" is below it in a serif font, and "PICTURES" appears below it.

Variant: A variant exists without the street sketch.

Technique: A still, hand-drawn graphic.

Audio: The closing theme of the movie or none.

Availability: Seen on Drugstore Cowboy, The Player, Tapeheads, and American Heart, among others. Its latest appearance was at the end of Sex and Death 101.
