Enix Corporation
Background
Enix was a Japanese company that produced video games, anime and manga. The company was founded in 1975 by Yashuiro Fukushima as Eidansha Boshu Service Center, but then it was renamed Enix in 1982. The company's name is a play between the words "phoenix" and "ENIAC" (the world's first computer). The company is best known for the Dragon Quest series. In 2003, they merged with Square to form Square Enix.

Variants:
- On Dragon Warrior IV, the logo is purple.
- Sometimes, the logo is pink or green.
- On Mahoujin GuruGuru for Super Famicom, the logo flashes.
- On Game Boy games, the logo is black on a white background.
- On Wonder Project J2, the logo zooms out and flips out.

Availability: Seen on Jesus for the PC-88, various SNES games like Soul Blazer, Nangoku Shounen Papuwa-kun and Nekketsu Tairiku: Burning Heroes, and Dragon Warrior IV for NES.

5th Logo (February 26, 1994)
Visuals: On a black background, a big white lowercase "e" from the last logo fades in, which is rotated to the right a bit. The "e" suddenly turns green, and the word "ENIX" wipes in below it.
