Background

Cenega Publishing (Central European Games) was founded in November 2000 by Cenega N.V. as a distribution brand for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. The company was acquired by 1C Company in May 2005 and renamed "1C Publishing Europe" in May 2007.

1st Logo (2002-2003)

Visuals: There is a starfield with a rotating spiral galaxy. Several light sparkles fly from the galaxy in turn and blast below to create six letters, reading "CENEGA". Then, a rolling S-shaped figure appears from the center and takes its place, clearing the galaxy away.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Ethereal sounds, bumping of the sparkles and a bitcrushed rumble. Sound designed by Johan von Red from Redmer Werkstatt.

Availability: Seen on Another War, The Watchmaker and other games published in Europe.

2nd Logo (2003-2007)

Visuals: The sequence starts on a starfield and begin to move into the light-flooded center of a spiral galaxy. Some asteroids fly past us, and then the light fades to show a different space environment with a giant green planet to the right and the S-shaped galactic logo already in place, with the name below. Then the name changes to the slogan "Where Worlds Collide".

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A whoosh-driven soundtrack with a double echoed announcer.

Availability: Seen on Shade: Wrath of Angels, Bloodline and other games.
