Dead Alive Productions

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

1st Logo (1990s)

Visuals: The warning screen fades to a red background. A white sphere with the stacked text "DEAD ALIVE PRODUCTIONS" spins in from the left of the screen. It then opens up to fill the whole screen with the logo.

Technique: A computer animated transition.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on their releases at the time, like Traces of Death and Burning Moon.

2nd Logo (January 16, 2002-)

Visuals: On a black background, there are the words

"DEAD AL VE
PRODUCTIONS."

A CGI skeleton walks from the left screen wearing a top hat and holding a baton. It stops, and looks at the word "AL VE," noticing that the letter I is missing. He uses the baton and makes the word complete "ALIVE." Now the skeleton looks at us as his eyes briefly glow red before going back to normal. The skeleton walks to the right and offscreen. The word now reads

"DEAD ALIVE
PRODUCTIONS."

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A demonic circus like theme with sound effects corresponding to the animations.

Availability: Seen on horror releases like the 2002 film, "Cannibalistic."
