Background

The Garden is a British television production company based in London, Manchester, and Leeds. They are best known for producing 24 Hours in A&E. Since 2013, they have been part of ITV Studios.

1st Logo (May 11, 2011-November 1, 2021)

Visuals: On a white background is a giant, grass textured "A" lying down. The camera pans away, initially in a straight direction before flipping so that "THE GARDEN" directly faces the screen. The text becomes simplified with some shading intact and alongside this transition, "PRODUCTIONS LTD" fades in below.

Bylines:

• May 11, 2011-August 28, 2013: None.
• November 13, 2013-December 18, 2014: "AN ITV STUDIOS COMPANY"
• January 7, 2015-November 1, 2021: "Part of ITV Studios" with the 2013 ITV Studios logo below.
• February 2, 2015-March 26, 2018: "Part of ITV Studios" with no ITV Studios logo

Variants:

• Most of the time, the logo appears within a box as part of the end credits. The cropping of the box may vary, sometimes being rectangular where the logo and byline combined covers most of the box, or longer where there is plenty of empty space.
• Sometimes, the logo is still.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability:

• It appeared on the first 24 series of 24 Hours in A&E and 24 Hours in Police Custody until series 9, the latter being the logo's last appearance.
• The ITV Studios byline variant with no ITV Studios logo can be seen on 10,000 BC and series 6 of 24 Hours in Police Custody.
• The fullscreen variant appeared on Planet Child.

2nd Logo (November 14, 2021-)

Visuals: Inside a white rectangular box is the stacked text "The Garden" with a green rectangular box on the top right. The box splits up into four pieces, each of which slide into random positions while still connected/close to each other. There are two forms made from this:

• The colored box is in the centre while the top left, bottom left, and bottom right pieces are on top, to the left, and to the bottom right of the centre box.
• The left and right pieces combine. The piece containing "Gar" is connected to the green piece.

The pieces merge back together before sliding up to reveal the byline "PART OF ITV STUDIOS".

Variant: Sometimes, the logo is still.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: The end theme of the show.

Availability: It made its first appearance on The Lakes with Simon Reeve and later appeared on Simon Reeve's South America, 24 Hours in A&E beginning with series 25, Squid Game: The Challenge, among many others.
