Background

Odyssey Distributors Ltd. was a British film distributor that was a subsidiary of Odyssey Entertainment Ltd. that was formed in 1988. Shortly afterwards, it formed a venture with Cinecom Pictures to launch its international division. When Cinecom went bust in 1991, its international division was absorbed into Odyssey themselves before folding in 1995.

2nd Logo (1991-1995)

Visuals: Over a rippling blue water background is the black text "ODYSSEY", in the same futuristic font as the Odyssey/Cinecom logo rippling over the screen and zooms in. As it finishes rippling and zooming, the text turns black, and the word "D I S T R I B U T O R S L T D ." fades in and spaced out to fit the word. The byline "A Communications & Entertainment Corp. company" fades in below the logo.
