Logo (July 19, 1940-1954)

Visuals: Over a cloudy background, the giant letters "E" and "S", along with the text "EDWARD" under the former letter, the text "SMALL" under the latter letter, and the text "PRODUCTIONS" under the set of text, fade from darkness as there are spotlights shine close by.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Audio: A majestic trumpet fanfare, or the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: It should be available for films made by the company such as Black Magic, but it's unknown which other films they produced.

Legacy: This has been known among the logo community mainly due to the infamous deteriorated variant, which was believed to be an actual variation of the logo for years.
