Background

Family CHRGD was a subsidiary of Family Channel. It launched on October 9, 2015. It was originally launched on June 1, 2011 as a Canadian version of Disney XD. It didn't use an onscreen ending logo until 2016. On March 1, 2022, the channel was relaunched as WildBrainTV.

Logo (March 22, 2016-2019)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a yellow robot head with electricity bolts shooting out from its antenna. Suddenly, it quickly zooms out and forms a yellow "R" with a blue border. As this happens, other yellow robot parts quickly zoom out while shooting out electricity bolts and form the letters "C", "H", "G", and "D" (in the same style as the "R"), forming the word "CHRGD". The word "family" (in the same font as the 1999 Family Channel logo and in white) appears above the "C" and the "H". 2 surges of electricity run through the logo.

Technique: CGI designed by Primal Screen, who also designed the station IDs.

Audio: The ending theme of the show.

Availability:

  • It was only seen on Fangbone! and season 2 of Supernoobs (after the series left the Corus Entertainment-owned Teletoon (now Cartoon Network Canada) in 2017) until the latter's series finale premiered sometime in 2019.
  • Strangely, this logo did not appear on Slugterra, The Deep, or Denis and Me, most likely due to time compression. The latter just uses the regular Family logo, while the former two just have the DHX Media logo on its own.
