1st Logo (December 1, 2009-November 6, 2012)

Visuals: The screen zooms out on some kind of tunnel on a black background. The tunnel turns out to be a grindstone, in the form of an "o", which is grinding the letter "n". Other letters form, which end up revealing the word "grindstone", with "grind" in an orange color and "stone" in a gray color, with the white words "e n t e r t a i n m e n t g r o u p" below. The grindstone stops grinding the "n", and after that, some kind of yellow spark appears.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Sounds of the grindstone grinding are heard during the whole logo, which end in a "whoosh" sound when the grindstone stops grinding the letter "n".

Availability: Seen on some DVD and theatrical releases by the company during that era. [Examples?]

2nd Logo (June 11, 2013-)

Visuals: On a black background, some sparks appear, illuminating the grindstone from the last logo, which is again grinding the letter "n". The sparks illuminate more of the background, revealing the 3D text "grindstone e n t e r t a i n m e n t g r o u p". The sparks then shine and illuminate the whole background, finally revealing the whole logo, which looks exactly like the last one.

Variant: On the American DVD release of Wings, the logo is already formed and it is zooming in on a black background.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the 1st logo. On The Frozen Ground, the opening theme plays over it.

Availability: Seen on some DVD releases, and on movies like The Frozen Ground, Contract to Kill and Private Property.

3rd Logo (2014-)

Visuals: On a black background, there is the normal Grindstone logo, but it is still and crudely drawn. The spark then glows and the whole logo shines.

Variant: Sometimes, the logo is still.

Technique: 2D digital animation.

Audio: None or the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on Grindstone's family-oriented releases, and releases from Simka Entertainment, except for Wings. It has been spotted on films like Hedgehogs, A Stork's Journey and Pinocchio: A True Story.
