1st Logo (1980-May 18, 1987)

Visuals: On a black background, a red line draws in and curves inwards. A orange line appears and does the same, followed by a yellow line below that. All 3 curve into a G shape, with each line reaching a point while drawing at different speeds. They all eventually form the bar of the G, completing the look. "GAYLORD PRODUCTION COMPANY" in a white Bauhaus 93 font fades in, along with "presents".

Variants:

• Early on, the opening text would say "A GAYLORD PRODUCTION CO. Presentation".
• On The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers, the text read "GAYLORD PRODUCTION CO." and "In Association With" in the same font and color as the credits appears over the logo.
• At the end of most productions, the logo would be still, with the text reading "In Association With GAYLORD PRODUCTION COMPANY" in a Times New Roman font.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: A string sound when the "G" is forming, then an allegro orchestra sounder at the end. Most of the time, it's just the opening/closing theme.

Availability: It appeared on The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers, Six Against The Rock and several other TV-movies. The opening variant appears on Tall Tales & Legends.

2nd Logo (September 1986-March 23, 1988)

Visuals: On a blue background with a black shade on top and a visible dot pattern, a large area of the screen is taken up by a translucent dark square. A silver sphere is seen fading in and flying down the area. Then, the square and ball fade out to reveal "GAYLORD PRODUCTION COMPANY" in a thin font with a line on top of it, and the G from the last logo, but in silver, drawing in. The top and bottom layers draw from top, and the middle starts from the end.

Variant: Usually, the logo is cut short after the G forms, as well as part of the beginning gone.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Mostly none or the closing theme of the program, but sometimes, a custom synth fanfare is used.

Availability: Appeared on later TV-movies, such as Laura Lansing Slept Here, Bonanza: The Next Generation, Dancin' to the Hits, the sketch comedy series Off The Wall, and Casey Kasem's Rock N' Roll Goldmine: The Soul Years.
