J.C. Staff (full name: Japan Creative Staff) is a Japanese anime studio.
Visuals: On a black background, there is the flipping 3D text "J.C.STAFF" in an aquamarine Bauhaus font. After it stops flipping, the italic text "JAPAN CREATIVE STAFF" wipes in underneath.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: None.
Availability: Seen on Private Psycho Lesson, distributed by Anime Hotshots, Inc.
Visuals: The screen fades to a zooming dark green vortex-like structure with various glowing aquamarine pipes all over the place. The camera slowly pans, as various glowing letters from the distance zoom towards it. When the camera pans to the rear, the letters are revealed to be "J.C. STAFF" in a glowing light yellow color. The aforementioned letters briefly zoom forward and back away for a moment, before returning to the screen, casting out a glow leftover as it 'slams', then another glow leftover in white.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A long descending phaser sound which leads to various faint phaser SFX, and a moderate 'slam'.
Availability: Shown on Adolescence of Utena.
Visuals: On a black background are two thin intersected white bars, one horizontal and the other vertical. A bunch of duplicates of the bars subsequently appear, folding and overlapping to the other, like a flipbook. Whilst this happens, a series of words in a glowing clustered rainbow color texture subsequently appear and disappear, which in individual order, are: "key animator", "Painter", "compositer" - the latter is a typo, supposed to read as "compositor" -, "director", "inbetweener", "background art", "production manager" and "total animaton company". The last word lasts for a slightly long period of time, as a red pencil fades and passes over the word from the tip, leaving out sparkles. The rest of the elements fade, thus leading to diagonal 6 red segmented abstracts wiping in, which form the blocky "JC". The text "J.C. STAFF" then fades underneath the abstracts, with the upper-left corner of the "J" having red leftovers from two of the portions it was divided into.
Technique: Computer animation.
Audio: None.
Availability: Shown on DVD releases of the company's works from the period, such as the The Melody of Oblivion volumes 1-6, the Lunar Legend Tsukihime volumes 1-2, aswell as the prologue.
Visuals: Against a beige background with a black vignette filter, the screen pans over various sketches forming the company's logomark, with various black particles protruding from the sketches. The sketches are then filled in ink, with most of them leaving out hollowed marks, and various splotches. When nearly finished, the hollowed marks are then filled in. The sketches then draw "J.C. STAFF" and are later filled with ink, leaving out splotches as well. When finished, the splotches fade, as the background fades to white, the logomark in red, and the texts in both red and gray.
Variant: On Aria the Crepuscolo and Aria the Benedizione, the finished result is still.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A somewhat, moderately chilling ambience theme with various chains and camera SFX.
Availability: Shown on DVD releases of the company's works, such as Selector Infected WIXOSS. It also appears on the movies KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!: Legend of Crimson, Sing a Bit of Harmony, Aria the Crepuscolo and Aria the Benedizione, aswell as the promotional video commemorating it's 30th anniversary.
