Background
When Motion Picture Corporation of America was acquired by Orion Pictures in 1996, their multimedia division, Motion Picture Corporation of America Interactive, was rebranded as Orion Interactive, with Jed Weintrob running the division. The company produced only two games before being folded into MGM Interactive in 1997.
Logo (October 18, 1996-September 12, 1997)
Visuals: Same as the 2nd Orion Home Video logo (Orion Pictures combo version), only "INTERACTIVE" replaces "HOME VIDEO". The logo is played backwards from the point where "ORION" disappeared in the top star of the constellation to the point where "ORION" is formed.
Variant: An early version exists, where the word "INTERACTIVE" is in its silver-gradient color. It's also shortened, and played forwards.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: The music varies.
- Sonic's Schoolhouse: The opening theme of the game, which is a low-bitrate recording of the "Gumball Machine" theme from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles, which also plays over the BAP and Sega Entertainment logos.
- Blue Heat: The Case of the Cover Girl Murders: A shortened variant of the theme from the 2nd Orion Home Video logo (Orion Pictures combo version).
Availability: It was only seen on Sonic's Schoolhouse and Blue Heat: The Case of the Cover Girl Murders, both for PC.
