NDA Productions

Background

NDA Productions was a short-lived publishing subsidiary of Vivendi Universal Games International founded in March 2002 that focused on developing titles via co-development agreements that are primarily designed to serve the regional European and Asian markets.

The division only published one game: Die Hard: Vendetta, and was the shell owners for Massive Entertainment after Vivendi Universal Games acquired the developer in March 2003. Although two more titles were planned to be released under it (namely the European versions of Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death and Ground Control II: Mission Exodus), both were released as Sierra titles, and contain Vivendi Universal Games and Sierra logos instead, so it is likely that the division was closed sometime between June-October 2003, the release months for the PS2/Xbox versions of Vendetta and Dredd vs. Death respectively.

Logo (November 15, 2002-June 27, 2003)

Visuals: On a black background, there are three orange zaps flipping up the letters "NDA" as they form lines next to the A. Afterward, another zap forms a small line on the A as "'productions" flips letter-by-letter below. The logo then turns into the print version, and fades out.

Variant: The logo is still on the GameCube version of the title. The "Productions" text is also thinner and smaller.

Audio: None.

Availability: Only appears on Die Hard: Vendetta. The still version appears on the GameCube version (the Sierra Entertainment logo appears on the NTSC version) while the animated version appears on the PAL-exclusive PlayStation 2 and Xbox ports.
