Background

Favorite Pictures Studios was an independent film production studio owned by a Winnipeg-based filmmaker John Paizs. It operated between 1984 to 1986, its best known as the cult film Crime Wave.

Logo (September 11, 1985)

Visuals: On an orange squared background with half-yellow and half-blue sphere background, there are the words "FAVORITE PICTURES" in the center and "STUDIOS" on the bottom.

Variant: On the remastered prints of Crime Wave, the logo is slightly zoomed-out.

Technique: A still printed image.

Audio: A bombastic horn-drum fanfare.

Availability: It was only seen on the 1985 film Crime Wave.
