Background

All3Media (stylized as all3media) is the UK's largest independent television, film and digital production and distribution company, formed in 2003 as a continuation of Chrysalis TV Group. It consists of many production and distribution companies from the UK, Europe, New Zealand and the US. On 8 May 2014, it was announced that Discovery Communications and Liberty Global would acquire All3Media in a 50:50 joint venture. The deal closed on 23 September 2014.

On 31 May 2023, it was reported that All3Media was considered for sale by Warner Bros. Discovery; possible buyers included Fremantle, ITV Studios and Banijay, among others. On 16 February 2024, RedBird IMI announced it would acquire All3Media for £1.15 billion ($1.45 billion); the deal is expected to close in mid-2024.
