Background

Disney Channel Originals is the production arm of pay television channel Disney Channel. The production arm serves as the flagship of Disney Branded Television (which owns Disney Channel, the latter being owned by the Walt Disney Company). The arm produces cartoons, live-action children's and adolescent sitcoms on Disney Channel.

Official Logos

1st Logo (1983-1986)

Visuals: On a dark blue space background that zooms away slowly, the tilted text "MADE FOR VIDEO!" is seen against some stripes. It "rolls" backward, and the title logo for the special rotates or flips into place. "Produced for" appears below, then it fades out as the title rotates or flips away, making room for a flying Disney Channel logo (in blue) on top and a flying Walt Disney Home Video logo in red on the bottom, with the word "and" fading in.

Technique: Computer animation done on Quantel Paintbox and Ampex ADO (Ampex Digital Optics).

Audio: A slightly different re-orchestration of the fanfare from the "Neon Mickey" Walt Disney Home Entertainment logo composed and performed by longtime Disney composer Buddy Baker.

Availability: Seen on video releases of specials originally produced for the Disney Channel, along with VHS volumes of Five Mile Creek and Animal Quiz. LP mode reprints of Five Mile Creek from 1994 retain the logo, following the 1990 Buena Vista Home Video logo.

2nd Logo (Grounding Marsh variant, October 1, 1995-November 28, 1997)

Visuals: On a black background, there are the words "The DiSNEY Channel" with "DiSNEY" in its signature font and the rest in Times New Roman font.

Variant: On Movie Surfers, "in association with" is above the logo.

Technique: A digital text graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on some episodes of Groundling Marsh (this show is pretty hard to find); however this does not appear on the Lyrick Studios VHS releases. Also seen on Movie Surfers.

3rd Logo (June 27, 1997-August 19, 2000)

Visuals: Over a background of claymated concentric circles coming from the center, there is an animation of Mickey Mouse in his 1930s design dancing inside the Disney Channel logo of the era that features a black television set with Mickey Mouse ears at the top, with the white Disney logo inside and "CHANNEL" below. Sometimes, the white "In Association with" text is shown above, set in Triplex Sans, and sometimes, the background pattern varies.

Trivia:

  • The animation of Mickey Mouse dancing is taken from the Disney cartoon Thru the Mirror (1936), when Mickey is dancing while balancing his cane (the cane doesn't appear). The alternate purple Mickey animation is taken from Mickey's Follies (1929), where Mickey is dancing while standing on a piano.
  • This logo and many of its variants were produced by Lee Hunt Associates, in association with Cuppa Coffee, Cherry Bomb Studios, and English & Pockett.

Variants:

  • On season two of Bug Juice, the first two seasons of So Weird, and all Disney Channel Original Movies from 1998-2000, the background is a blue aurora that almost appears to be swirling with white sparks coming from behind the logo like a burst of fireworks and a purple aurora blurry ring, looking like a space background.
  • Some co-produced series would carry the text "In Association With" above the logo.
  • On some later programs, the website URL "www.disney.com" is seen below.
  • On Zoog Disney, Mickey is replaced with Browser (in his 1998-2000 design), a dog character who is one of the mascots from the block.
  • Vault Disney variant: The background is a sunburst-like background and a dark red banner reading "Vault Disney" is seen above the logo, which has the word "CHANNEL" below. An alternate Mickey is also used here, in which he's outlined entirely in purple and does a different dance animation.
  • On the first three episodes of Bug Juice, the logo is big without the outline, the word "CHANNEL" is less wider and the words are black in a different font.
  • Sometimes (especially in the first year of the logo), the word "CHANNEL" is absent.
  • On early episodes of Disney Channel in Concert, there is a variant in which is on a purple background with a texture similar to fabric with four gold circles near the Disney Channel logo. The alternative purple Mickey animation is also used here, and the word "CHANNEL" is also in Times New Roman.
  • One variant had a different Mickey animation (also from Thru the Mirror) in which he's wearing a top hat and balancing a cane (possibly a match) on his nose. The background for this variant was a series of black outlined overlapping circles, which came in white, gold, or aqua-green color.
  • On newer prints of Disney Channel movies from the era, the logo is zoomed in to 16:9.

Technique: Computer animation with a mix of 2D cel animation for Mickey.

Audio: A synth-disco jingle (taken from the 1997 "Coming Up on Disney" promo), based on Disney Channel's old jingle at the time, or the end theme of the show or movie.

Audio Variants:

  • On Playhouse Disney shows, a xylophone arrangement of the theme is used instead.
  • On season two of Bug Juice, some episodes of The Making Of..., and several DCOMs like Can of Worms and The Color of Friendship, there is a tribal arrangement of the theme.
  • The "Vault Disney" version has an upbeat, jazzy rendition of the theme (which was also used on "coming up next" bumpers for the block).
  • On Zoog Disney, techno music followed by the vocals saying "Zoogs!" (used for the Zoog Disney bumpers from 1998-2000), with Browser barking.
  • On TV airings and DVD prints of Halloweentown, various cartoon sound effects were heard over the closing theme.
  • Sometimes, silence.

Availability: Any shows that had this logo were plastered over with either the 2002 Disney Channel logo or the Playhouse Disney logo on later airings.

  • It appeared on Out of the Box, PB&J Otter, season 3 of Amazing Animals, Bug Juice, Rolie Polie Olie and Mad Libs. However, the DVD release of Rolie Polie Olie: Olie's Winter Wonderland, as well as other Playhouse Disney and DCOM releases from the time, have this logo intact.
  • The aurora variant can be seen on some season 1 and 2 episodes of So Weird (most episodes plaster it with the 2002 logo) and Up, Up and Away on Disney+, Halloweentown on the Halloweentown Double Feature DVD, and certain DCOMs on VHS like The Color of Friendship. The "Vault Disney" variant can be found on a Bedknobs and Broomsticks documentary special called Music Magic: The Sherman Brothers, which can be found on the Blu-Ray release of Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
  • The Zoog Disney variant was only seen between shows on the Zoog Disney block at the time.
  • Some DCOMs have the 2000 logo or the 2002 logo plaster it on their Disney+ prints.

Legacy: This logo is a memorable favorite for those who watched Disney Channel programs in the 1990s.

4th Logo (Bear in the Big Blue House UK closing variant) (October 20, 1997-2003)

Visuals: Fading in from the closing credits, there is a still screenshot of the titular house from Bear in the Big Blue House from the opening credits. The white text in the middle reads: "UK version produced by" in Capri Bold font. At the bottom is the Disney Channel International wordmark with "DiSNEY" in the corporate Walt Disney script, at the left, in red with a white shadow, and "Channel" in Globe Gothic Bold Condensed font, at the right, in blue, again with a white shadow, next to the word "DiSNEY". After one second, it fades out to black, seguing into the shorter version of the Shadow Projects logo.

Technique: A digital graphic overlay.

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on UK prints of Bear in the Big Blue House. Also retained on these prints of the show's last eight episodes of the show when they premiered in 2003 (three years before Disney Channel aired them on Playhouse Disney, albeit with little, if any, reruns).

5th Logo (Art Attack international closing variant) (1997-2005)

Visuals: On a white background, there is the Media Merchants logo, with the text "A Production" and "in association with" at the top and bottom sides respectively (the text may also be translated to a language in which a localization is being presented in). Below it is the 1997-2003 Disney Channel International wordmark below it (in the same fonts as the 4th logo).

Variants:

  • On segments of the French version, it shows the Art Attack logo, French text saying 'est diffusé tous les jours sur' with the 1997-2003 International Disney Channel print logo and the shows website link below it.
  • The main logo was also translated in the localized Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian and German versions of the show, respectively.

Technique: A still graphic card created digitally.

Audio: The 1995 sound from the Media Merchants logo. On segments of the French version, it's the end theme of Art Attack.

Availability: Seen only on international localizations of Art Attack during the time period.

6th Logo (June 17, 2000-February 14, 2004)

Visuals: Over a psychedelic purple background, the logo starts with "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" in white. It fades out and zooms in and the Disney Channel logo from last time, in purple, zooms up. "DiSNEY", in the familiar trademark font, pops out of the logo when it stops. Through the remainder, the logo shifts colors and patterns. There is a ghost trail effect animating around the logo. The logo is sometimes followed by Disney Enterprises logo/copyright tag.

Variants:

  • On some shows and original movies, it omits the words "IN ASSOCIATION WITH", so the sequence starts with the Disney Channel logo zooming in.
  • On French dubs of their shows, the "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" text is in French, which says, "EN ASSOCIATION AVEC".
  • A print version of the logo on a white background was spotted on The Santa Clause Brothers.
  • On newer prints of Disney Channel movies from the era, the logo is zoomed in to 16:9.
  • On the Even Stevens season 1 episode "Foodzilla", the logo is darker.

Technique: Computer animation from Rick Scott at Autonomy.

Audio: A hip-hop/techno fusion jingle containing a bitcrushed male voice saying "Yeah!" and then two distorted record scratches sounding like "Star power!". The short version just has the latter half of the "Yeah!" sounder followed by the record scratches. Otherwise, the ending theme of the show or movie.

Audio Trivia: Portions or rearrangements of the logo's audio can be heard as jingles on Disney Channel's 2000-2002 on-air look, along with some voice overs from Cam Brainard and Liza del Mundo (starting in June 2001).

Audio Variants:

  • On the 2005 Classroom Edition DVD of The Color of Friendship, this logo plasters over the 1997 logo. If you listen closely when the logo cuts to black, you can hear the last note of the tribal arrangement from the 1997 logo, which has been played fully through the logo when Disney+ prints of it show the logo.
  • On Disney+ prints (using the French audio track) of the DCOM Zenon: The Zequel, a low pitched version of the 2007 theme is heard: all other audio tracks have the correct 2000 theme, with the exception of the Latin American Spanish audio track that has the logo in silence.
  • On Disney+ prints (using the British English audio track) of the season 3 premiere of Even Stevens, the theme from the 2002 logo plays out of sync: CBBC reruns and CITV UK airings of this episode has the correct 2000 theme.
  • On Disney+ prints of some Lizzie McGuire episodes, it uses the shortened 2002 logo theme.

Availability:

  • On television, it very occasionally appeared on sporadic airings of Stepsister from Planet Weird, Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens on Disney Channel as part of the Disney Replay block, particularly the Lizzie McGuire episode "Night of the Day of the Dead" and the Even Stevens episode "The Thomas Gribalski Affair".
  • This logo had been plastered over on most shows by the 2002 and 2007 logos. Starting in July 2000, this logo would plaster over the previous logo on Disney Channel shows and movies that featured it. On Disney+, it can be seen on season 2 and the first episode of season 3 of Even Stevens, season 3 of So Weird, and all DCOMs from 2000 to 2002.
  • On Netflix, it used to appear on Cadet Kelly when it was on there back in 2012.
  • On home video, this appears on The Book of Pooh: Fun with Words and Fun with Friends on VHS (and not a Playhouse Disney logo), the Kim Possible episode "Crush" as a bonus feature on the Kim Possible: The Secret Files DVD, Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge on the Halloweentown Double Feature DVD, and DCOMs on VHS from the time.
  • Starting in July 2000, this logo would plaster over the previous logo on Disney Channel shows and movies that featured it.
  • However, it is still found on those said shows when aired on Disney XD Canada and Family Channel respectively. This logo was used in tandem with the 2002 logo, as it was seen on the Even Stevens episode "Leavin' Stevens" that aired in June 2003 and The Proud Family episode "Surf and Turf" that aired that same year on Disney Channel. The rest of the episodes of the show on ABC Kids plasters it with the 2002 Disney Channel Originals logo with the same music intact.
  • This appeared on a 2010s Disney Channel Denmark airing of the That's So Raven episode "Escape Claus", although this series never aired in the 2000 era.
  • Some DCOMs have either the 2002 or 2007 logos plaster it on their Disney+ prints.
  • This logo is retained on the complete series DVD set of The Proud Family on season 1.

Legacy: This logo is memorable for those who grew up with Disney Channel during this period.

7th Logo (September 30, 2002-March 14, 2010)

Visuals: Over a black background, the logo starts with blue pixie dust flying from the bottom of the screen to the center, causing a flash that sends several blue and teal Mickey Mouse head outlines (with one cutting the black background rather than completing its transition) towards the viewer as if it explodes like fireworks, with lights moving down like rain on the left, which turns the background into a cloudy sky, with stars shining on the right. The pixie dust circles around the flash, which becomes a Mickey Mouse head that happens to be Disney Channel's logo, filled with watery white coloring (which flows clockwise but repeats), a blue outline around it, and the "DiSNEY CHANNEL" text in blue (later black) with "DiSNEY" in its corporate font. The logo comes closer and lands on the bottom left as a blue banner reading "OrIGInaL" (set in Placard Bold Condensed, the font used for Disney Channel's graphics since then) in white pops up around the logo (if you look closely, it can be seen clipping through the logo on the far left). As the logo wobbles, the ball of light moves offscreen, leaving behind a trail of pixie dust. Two trails of pixie dust appear, with one moving from behind the logo to the top, and one moving from the right in front of the logo to the top, both leaving other trails.

Trivia: This logo was based on the intro and bumpers for the Disney Channel Movie programming block from 2002 to 2008.

Variants:

  • There is a more common short version starting with the wobble. It was seen at the end of shows and movies from the era.
    • An even shorter version exists, which ends with two pixie dust trails intersecting each other. This one was first used on season 4 of That's So Raven.
  • On some international prints, the logo fades to the 1998-2007 Buena Vista International logo.
  • On Life with Derek, "In aSSOCIaTIOn WITH" as the same font as "OrIGInaL" appears is above the logo. Also, this variant is sped-up a bit and the animation ends right when both pixie dust trails fly off of the screen.
  • On U.S airings of Naturally Sadie, "A Decode Entertainment production in association with" is above the logo.
  • A sped-up version of the short version exists.
  • On some Disney Channel Original Movies from 2004-2006 and HD prints of them, the logo is zoomed in.
  • On Disney Channel Live: El Concierto, a variant exists where the logo jarringly zooms out from the bottom left to reveal itself animating like usual, and when the logo fades out, (due to using the footage of the short version from 2006-2010) it starts to animate in reverse.
  • Disney Channel promos in the early 2000s had the logo on their backgrounds.
  • On some international versions of the original movie Pixel Perfect, the logo isn't only cropped but the colors are brighter than usual.
  • A variant exists where "ORIGINAL" was replaced with "DISNEYCHANNEL.COM". Here, the banner moves slightly differently and is placed more lower.
  • On the international versions of Twitches and Buffalo Dreams, as well as some 4:3 Disney Channel Asia prints of High School Musical, the widescreen logo is completely cropped to where only the right side of the logo is shown, leaving some of the text cut-off.
  • On Disney Channel UK, there is a version with a copyright notice saying "(C) 2007 Disney Channel UK".
  • On the French dub of The Cheetah Girls 2, the logo is in black and white.
  • On international prints of High School Musical, the logo may be in widescreen and cut very short.
  • On 2006-2009 and Netflix prints of High School Musical, the logo is seen slowed down, and brighter.
  • On the Australian version of As the Bell Rings, the logo was recreated in widescreen and 2D computer animation with the logo being slightly faster, the cloud background being different than the original, the Mickey head simply bouncing and later stopping and its outline being slightly thicker. The two pixie dust trails don't appear and the text is smaller. The animation overall is done cheaply and in lower quality.
  • On early 16:9 widescreen shows, the logo remains in its original 4:3 aspect ratio but with blue lines accommodated respectively on the left and right.
  • A short version exists on the short series Shorty McShorts' Shorts.

Technique: CGI produced by PMcD Design and animated by Black Logic. 2D computer animation for the Australian version of As the Bell Rings.

Audio: Several drumbeats segueing into a power pop theme with off-beat skank rhythms, electric guitars and a horn section, with the last four notes of this jingle representing Disney Channel's signature jingle, with the sound of fireworks throughout. Composed by the late Alex Lasarenko of Tonal Sound & Elias Associates.

Audio Variants:

  • On seasons 2-3 of That's So Raven, there is the "Yeah! (Star power!)" music, except the "Yeah!" is extended. On Cory in the House, season 4 of That's So Raven and seasons 1-3 of Hannah Montana, the short version of the 2000 logo's music is used with the "Yeah!" being cut off and a piano note from the Warren & Rinsler Productions logo (despite the company not producing the latter show), both at the start.
  • On an online print of the That's So Raven episode "Driven to Insanity", a split second of the 2000 logo's music can be heard and it then abruptly cuts to the regular theme of this logo.
  • On the UK version of As the Bell Rings, a ding is heard.
  • A shorter version also exists.
  • Sometimes, the closing theme of the series plays over.
  • ABC Kids airings from 2004 to 2006 used a generic theme.

Availability:

  • It appears on reruns of some of Disney Channel's shows from the era. This logo has plastered over the 1997 Disney Channel logo on the first two seasons of So Weird on later airings of the show and on Disney+ (though some episodes still retain older logos). It still appears on Disney Channel's original movies from 1998-late 2007 when aired on Disney Channel and Disney XD; it plasters the 1997 and 2000 logos. It appears on pre-2008 airings of Playhouse Disney's My Friends Tigger and Pooh.
  • The long variant used to appear before shows on TV until 2006, and on iTunes prior to 2010.
  • The version with the copyright notice was seen on Hannah Montana: Live in London and the UK version of As the Bell Rings both on Disney Channel UK.
  • The B&W version is only seen on French prints of The Cheetah Girls 2.
  • This logo plasters the previous logo on later, post-2002 reruns of Even Stevens on Disney Channel. It has recently been spotted on the January 6, 2024 airing of Kim Possible: A Sitch in Time on Disney XD USA (likely due to using 4:3 masters instead of the 16:9 ones). It was also spotted on a French printing of Twitches Too. On Disney+ prints of select DCOMs from the 90s and early 2000s, it plasters the 1997 and 2000 logos.
  • It can also be found on the 2007-2009 Disney Channel and 2003-2006 ABC Kids airings of The Proud Family, which plastered the 2000 logo.
  • The DisneyChannel.com variant was seen on a November 2004 airing of Mulan as an accidental intermission bumper and also some Disney Channel promos at the time.
  • This logo with the 2000 logo's music can be seen on some ABC Kids airings of Power Rangers S.P.D.

Legacy: This is seen as a memorable logo among those who grew up with Disney Channel in the 2000s, thanks to its omnipresence, jingle, and animation.

8th Logo (August 17, 2007-February 17, 2012)

Visuals: On a twinkling blue cloudy sky (a different one unlike the last logo but moves upwards), a blue ribbon appears and turns into the Mickey Mouse head from the last logo, but with a bit of a difference. The "OrIGInaL" banner pops up under the Disney Channel name, and doesn't wobble, instead coming to a complete stop. Instead of the water-like substance from the last logo, the inside of the Mickey Head has a beige cloud-like texture that has a warping effect.

Variants:

  • An early version exists on Twitches Too and early re-releases of High School Musical 2. (This version debuted on August 17, 2007. However, this logo "officially" debuted on January 25, 2008.)
    • On the former, it's the short version with an ambient occlusion effect.
    • On the latter, it's still (i.e. the first frame of the above version but without the ambient occlusion effect).
  • A widescreen version exists (with blue lines respectively on the left and right seen). On the 2008 Disney Channel Games, it disappears, causing the Disney copyright notice to appear.
    • A similar variant exists for the Playhouse Disney logo as well.
    • A squished version of it was spotted on the original SD-feed airing of season 2 of Sonny with a Chance, due to a broadcast error.
  • An alternate widescreen version exists, in which the Disney Channel logo is on the far left side of the screen. In this version, there are no blue lines, and more of the background can be seen.
  • On The Cheetah Girls: One World, the "OrIGInaL" banner is absent.
  • On 16 Wishes, the logo has more noticeable differences like more of the background can be seen and thus causing the Mickey Mouse head to be smaller. The "OrIGInaL" banner can be seen more and just simply slides up, and the words on it are smaller and the animation is slower.
  • On current prints of Tiger Cruise, a longer version exists where the ribbon appears in the sky and the camera moves down, going to the normal logo's animation.
  • On a print of the Kim Possible episode "The Big Job", an even longer version exists in which on a black and blue gradient background, with stars on the left side of the screen, the blue ribbon hits the near-center of the screen causing a bright star and flash to appear making the other little stars more detailed and the cloudy background to appear, going to the variant above animation. Sometimes, the bright star is absent.
  • On the 2009 special Disney's Friends for Change, the "OrIGInaL" banner is absent and the logo is in widescreen.
  • On some Disney Channel Original Movies (Geek Charming and Radio Rebel are some examples), the logo is cut short to the "OrIGInaL" banner appearing on the Disney Channel logo and is in slow-motion.
  • On CITV airings of various Disney Channel shows, the banner-less and lower-placed logo is still, and the words "A DISNEY CHANNEL PRODUCTION" is above the logo. It uses the music from the last logo.
  • On a 2007 promo for Twitches Too, there is a themed variant in which the Mickey head, the "Disney Channel" text, and the "OrIGInaL" banner are gold, and the sky backdrop is dark red with black clouds shifting forward.
  • On TV airings of Phineas and Ferb episode "The Chronicles of Meap", the logo is slightly shortened where the beginning part is cut off when the ribbon appears.

Technique: CGI designed by Mary Snyder and animated by New Wave Entertainment.

Audio: This logo had many music variants:

  • 2007-2012: A breakbeat with a short techno remix of the Disney Channel jingle; this was also used on the "Magic Wand" bumpers and idents from the time period in 2007. Composed by David Norland.
  • 2008-2011: A synth-rock version of the Disney Channel mnemonic, also composed by Norland. Used on some programs that have the logo.
  • Either the 2000 (second and eleventh episodes of the final season of Hannah Montana with the cut-off "Yeah!" and the Warren & Rinsler Productions piano note, both at the start) or 2002 (season 3 and part of the final season of Wizards of Waverly Place and some prints of Zenon: The Zequel) logo's themes, along with short versions.
  • Some shows like Phineas and Ferb use the closing theme.
  • On newer prints of episodes of Lilo & Stitch: The Series and Kim Possible, the Walt Disney Television theme finishes over it.

Availability:

  • Preserved on most prints of Disney Channel shows and Original Movies from the era, and even plasters over previous logos on newer prints of older shows and DCOMs. Seen on Disney Channel shows made from 2007 to early 2012, starting with Season 2 of Phineas and Ferb and Fish Hooks, as well as early episodes of Good Luck Charlie, A.N.T. Farm and Shake It Up, among others. The yellow variant appears on the trailer for Twitches Too. The logo plasters the 2000 logo in every DCOM on Disney+ from the early 2000s.
  • It appeared on a print of Special Agent Oso.
  • Some prints of A.N.T. Farm omit this logo entirely.
  • It was quietly retired in 2012, with the DCOM Radio Rebel, and shows such as Gravity Falls, Austin & Ally, Dog with a Blog and newer episodes of shows that previously used this logo are no longer using it.
  • The "Yeah! (Star power!)" variant can be found on current prints of the DCOMs Quints and The Ultimate Christmas Present. The short version (with the piano note from the Warren & Rinsler Productions logo at the start) can be heard on early season 4 episodes of Hannah Montana.
  • The 2002 theme variant can be found on season 3 and early season 4 (while episode 20 onwards omits the logo) episodes of Wizards of Waverly Place and current prints of Zenon: The Zequel, and the short version is heard on earliest episodes of Jonas.
  • The widescreen version without the blue bars can be seen on widescreen prints of High School Musical 2 as well as one print of Lilo & Stitch: The Series and some HD prints of Kim Possible.
  • This can be seen on Disney Channel Spain prints of Stuck in the Middle, K.C Undercover, Best Friends Whenever, Dog With a Blog, Jessie, Liv and Maddie, Elena of Avalor and Girl Meets World, although US prints of these shows don't have any Disney Channel logo at all.
  • This logo is the last to be used on any Disney Channel originals. Starting in early 2012 as mentioned before (except for any custom follow-ups used internationally and award show uses), no Disney Channel original used a Disney Channel Originals logo ever since, including current shows on the channel such as Sydney to the Max, Raven's Home, Coop & Cami Ask the World, and others.

9th Logo (Spain custom variant) (October 17, 2014-)

Visuals: The same as the 2014 Disney Channel Original Movies logo, except the banner just says "ORIGINAL".

Technique: CGI animation from BDA Creative.

Audio: Same as the 2014 Disney Channel Original Movies logo.

Audio Variant: On Tangled: The Series (also known as Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure), a few whooshes are heard.

Availability: Seen on Un, Dos, ¡Chef! and also on Disney Channel Spain airings of Bunk'd and Tangled: The Series.

10th Logo (First Class Chefs: Family Style closing variant) (June 22-July 20, 2015)

Visuals: On a black background, the 2014 Disney Channel logo (minus "CHANNEL") rapidly zoom into view, as the letters of "DiSNEY" float on top and settle from left to right on the blue backing. "CHANNEL" appears, also from left to right, below. The logo shines as white sparks fly around it. A byline appears below: "©2016 The Walt Disney Company Limited. All Rights Reserved"

Technique: CGI animation from BDA Creative.

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on First Class Chefs: Family Style (originally broadcast on the now-defunct British-Irish Disney Channel) on Disney+.

11th Logo (The Lodge closing variant) (September 23, 2016-November 3, 2017)

Visuals: Over the end credits of The Lodge, the 2014 Disney Channel logo forms, with the white text drawing in first as the blue backing covers it, filling like water or gelatin, as well as two gold lens flares. Once it is fully formed, streaks of water shoot from the sides and top of the logo.

Technique: CGI animation from BDA Creative.

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen only on The Lodge (originally aired on the now-defunct British-Irish Disney Channel; the first season did air in the US) on Disney+.

12th Logo (Radio Disney Music Awards variant) (April 30, 2017, June 23, 2018)

Visuals: On a pink background with outline of the dot of the "i" in the Disney Channel logo engrained, with little emojis floating on the bottom screen going right to left, a light blue tab with the dot of the "i" comes out and it becomes larger, turns gold, and it now contains the 2014 Disney Channel logo in purple. The background becomes light blue while the tab then shrinks slightly and moves slightly to the left and a large purple tab with the words "ORIGINAL" in gold comes out and goes to the right. The two tabs move down slightly and the background becomes gray.

Technique: 2D computer animation, based on the 2017-2019 Disney Channel branding by MakinÉ Studios.

Audio: A techno remix of the Disney Channel theme that sounds like a slight remix of the synthesized tune of the 2007 logo.

Availability: Seen on the 2017 and 2018 editions of the Radio Disney Music Awards. Like most annual award shows, the awards have only aired once or twice on TV and never again. The 2018 show, however, is available on YouTube.

13th Logo (101 Dalmatian Street closing variant) (December 14, 2018-February 22, 2020)

Visuals: At night, there is a view of the house with the address of 101 Dalmatian Street in a neighborhood next to two other buildings. The camera then moves to the London district of Camden Town. Below the London skyline, there's a purple version of the 2014 Disney Channel logo. During the forming a copyright stamp is seen below. The camera then stops moving when the Disney Channel logo is formed.

Technique: A mix of 2D animation from the Canadian animation studio, Atomic Cartoons and CGI animation from BDA Creative.

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: The logo is exclusive to 101 Dalmatian Street on Disney+. The series originally aired on the now-defunct British-Irish Disney Channel. In the United States, the series was formerly available on Disney XD and DisneyNOW.

14th Logo (June 16, 2019-)

Visuals: In the center of a mostly blue background, with some light purple on the left side of the screen and some weird shapes all around, there is a gold circle with a stylized Mickey Mouse hand giving a "thumbs up" sign. Suddenly, the circle and the hand zooms out to reveal the 2014 Disney Channel logo in blue, with the words having a blue-white gradient color. The word, "ORIGINAL" in a white crude font with pencil shading appears one-by-one with the letters zooming in and out rapidly. While that is happening, the background becomes purple with a stylized Mickey Mouse head (in the same style as the "i" in "Disney" in Disney Channel's logo) showing the blue background. All around the screen, there are various items like a lightning bolt and a Mickey Mouse ear hat.

Technique: 2D animation, plus the word "ORIGINAL" in CGI; based on the 2019 Disney Channel branding by MakinÉ Studios.

Audio: The end theme of the special or the show. On BIA, a 2-note theme (with sparkling sounds throughout) plays.

Availability: It first appeared on the 2019 Radio Disney Music Awards, and is later seen on the Argentine show BIA. It also appeared on the Disney Channel special event Descendants: The Royal Wedding, and is use on the Disney Channel Original Series, Disney's Magic Bake-Off, bringing a "revival" to a Disney Channel Original logo on Disney Channel Original Series.

Technique: A digitally-created graphic.

Audio: The closing theme of the special.

Availability: Seen only on Miraculous World: New York - United Heroez.

Unused Logos

Logo (September 2002)

Visuals: On a background stylized much like an old projector, the text "In assocIaTIOn WITH" (in Placard Bold Condensed) flickers in with a vertical blur effect. A few seconds after it settles down, the text disappears in a manner similar to that of its appearance. Whilst it disappears, the Mickey head shape (albeit blurry) bounces in from the bottom-left corner. As it settles down, the "DiSNEY CHANNEL" text draws itself in while flickering. When it finishes drawing, the Mickey head shape unblurs. The Disney Channel text slightly flickers through the rest of duration of the logo. The whole thing is slightly tinted in a dark shade of blue.

Technique: 2D computer animation, done by CA Square, who were responsible for creating Disney Channel's on-air graphics from 2002 to 2007.

Audio: A triumphant orchestral rendition of the signature Disney Channel jingle, accompanied by the film projector sound and sparkles. Composed by Alex Lasarenko of Tonal Sound & Elias Associates, same composer as the 2002-2010 logo.

Availability: It used to be available on Tonal Sound's website, which has since been shut down. It also appears on a branding montage video by CA Square. This logo has been taken over by the 2002-2010 logo instead.
