Background

This was the South Korean arm of Buena Vista International.

Logo (July 26, 2002-July 30, 2004)


Visuals: On a black background, an white curved line outlined in glowing orange draws in fast. As it does this, the castle from the 1985-2006 Walt Disney Pictures logo is shown in white. Then, the company's name in Korean text fades in, followed by the rest of it wiping to the right with an orange light going through.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A 6-note ascending light synth theme or the opening theme of the film.

Availability: This was only seen on two South Korean films, which are Phone and Bunshinsaba (not to be confused with the 2012 film). This logo might be found on South Korean theatrical prints of the American film The Prince and Me.
