Background

Star+ (stylized as ST★R+) was a Latin American over-the-top subscription video streaming service available in Latin America. The service is owned by The Walt Disney Company through Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution.

On June 26, 2024, Star+ was merged to Disney+ with all of their catalog (including anime) were integrated to Disney+, with the hubs Star and ESPN were added, the standalone Star+ officially closed on July 24, 2024.
