Magnetic Video (South Pacific) Pty. Ltd. was a branch of Magnetic Video Corporation that operated in Australia and New Zealand. It was renamed to 20th Century-Fox Video (South Pacific).

Logo (1980-1982)


Visuals: On an out-of-focus background filled with multicoloured lights, the "M-Circle" is seen above the centre, with the top coloured black, the bottom coloured brown, and outlined in white. Below it, there is the white text "Magnetic Video (South Pacific)" outlined in black. The background changes shape and colours throughout.

Audio: The 1953 CinemaScope extension of the 20th Century Fox fanfare, composed by Alfred Newman.

Availability: This logo was only used in Australia. Seen on a Betamax copy of The Young Lions and a VHS copy of The Eagle Has Landed.
