Background

Arkansas Educational Television Network is a state network of PBS with stations serving the state of Arkansas. It launched on December 4, 1966 and is headquartered in Conway.

1st ID (1979)


Visuals: On a blue background, there is the Arkansas Educational Television Commission logo, consisting of four orange and yellow ovals (the first and fourth ones being orange and the second and third ones being yellow) with the network's initials ("a", "e", "t", and "c" respectively) inside them in a black ABC-like font, and the words "arkansas educational television commission" in all lowercase letters next to them.

Technique: A still, printed image filmed by a camera.

Audio: A short rhode organ tune.

Availability: Seen on Money Magic.

2nd ID (1983-1987)


Visuals: On a black background, a golden flash appears and forms a ring. The ring rotates to the front, then it flashes again to form the words "AETN". Orange sparkles are seen below the words, which form the words "An" (above "AETN") and "Presentation" (below "AETN"), a copyright year stamp, "Arkansas Educational Television Network", and "All Rights Reserved".The ring then glows blue, and the logo stays on-screen for 5 seconds, while continuing to shine.
