1st (known) Logo (1980's-1990's)
Visuals: On a tan background, a compass made of 4 hooked lines expands outwards. In the center, a burnt red circle is drawn as 4 black curves come in from all corners of the screen to close it up. When they connect, the logo moves up and zooms out as the text "Native American Public Broadcasting Consortium, Inc." in Helvetica, zooms out as well.
Technique: The logo forming, the text zooming out.
Audio: A synth sound plays throughout, similar to that of a dead signal from a radio, with 4 deep synth drones played when the logo is forming. The final drone is also held out.
Availability: Seen on Two Tales of Wesakechak.
