1st Logo (May 14-November 24, 1994)


Visuals: On a sandy background, there is a green gecko and footprints. To the gecko's left, there is the text:

in red. The gecko's tail moves.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The closing theme of the TV movie.

Availability: It was seen on the TV movie MacGyver: Lost Treasure of Atlantis.

2nd Logo (April 18, 1995-March 6, 1998)


Visuals: On a brown wooden background, there is the text:

stacked on top of one word another in stony, beige letters. The whole logo has film scratch effects.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The sound of a film projector running. This audio is later used for the 3rd logo. Sometimes, the show's closing theme is heard.

Availability: Seen on the first season of Stargate SG-1 and Legend.

3rd Logo (June 26, 1998-February 22, 2005)


Visuals: On a dark gray marble background, there is the 3D text:

in white. The logo zooms in and shines.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None. On at least one episode of Stargate SG-1, it uses the same film projector running from the previous logo.

Availability: It was seen on seasons 2-8 of Stargate SG-1.
