Legendary Television

Background

In 2011, Legendary Pictures announced the creation of their television division to focus on developing television productions. It was headed by Jeremy Elice and a co-financing contract with Warner Bros. Television was signed. However, the following year, Legendary decided to postpone its expansion into television and put the division on hold while restructuring; and the contract with Warner Bros. was terminated while Elice left the company. In 2013, Legendary invested in hiring Bruce Rosenblum, a former head of Warner Bros. Television, to head the company's television and digital media operations.
