Background

This is the name that the channel currently known as Tipik used between 1977 and 1997.

1st Logo (1977-1984)

Visuals: On a black background, a bold rectangular border with a blue top, red sides, a green bottom and a white dot inside it zooms in. When the border leaves the screen, the dot keeps zooming in until it stops near the bottom of the screen. The shape of the RTBF emblem from the time is drawn in around it, and it turns blue as the outline disappears when it's done. The logo then flips to the right, becoming a straight line as the background changes to blue, as the line turns black. The logo then flips into normal view, now shown in black with the circle inside it being transparent. Then, various "2"s appear clockwise inside the transparent circle, forming what looks like a stylized sun. The logo then zooms back near the left side. All the "2"s except for the first one disappear, causing the first one to zoom in as the transparent circle becomes white, and the "2" places itself at the right of the logo, as the white word "TELE" appears letter-by-letter above the number.

Technique: All 2D animation, although it is a bit better than the RTBF1 ident.

Audio: A dreamy synth theme. A vocoder then sings the channel's name.

2nd Logo (1985-1987)

Visuals: There is a big "2" with a red, yellow and blue striped pattern, and the text "TELE 2" below, sandwiched by two lines. The channel name then slides to the right side of the screen and the lines slide away as the screen zooms in on the "2". The stripes on its pattern disappear one by one, until there's nothing left.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: A horn synth fanfare.
