Background

This is the production company of Jason Katims.

Logo (October 6, 1999-May 14, 2002)

Visuals: There is old footage of a table with work papers, a cup of coffee, a glass cup, and a napkin with the company name written on it. There are two hands (most likely those of Katims himself), one of them is holding a pen and tapping it on the table. The left hand, which is holding the pen, draws a straight line on the napkin between the text.

Variants:

  • The logo would come in either the standard 4:3 version (seen on full-screen prints) or the widescreen 16:9 version.
  • On 4:3 prints of early season 1 episodes, the logo is videotaped.

Technique: Live-action with an old film effect. Judging from the lighting, the logo looks like it takes place during the early morning.

Audio: A short violin ditty (composed by W.G. Snuffy Walden) combined with tapping and drawing sounds, sometimes shortened.

Availability: Seen on Roswell.
