1st ID (1999-2003)
Visuals: On a black background, there is a red flag with a white "F" waving. The text "FISHER", with "BROADCASTING" smaller under it, appears below the flag and shines.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: A 3-note synth jingle followed by a male voiceover (Al Vanik) saying "Fisher Broadcasting".
2nd ID (2003-2007)
Visuals: On a red background, there is the name "FISHER" in white. The camera zooms in on the "H". There is a quick glimpse of the word "communications", then a green circle with a white arrow tilting upwards. They quickly fade to another screen, with a white background and a red "F" flag-like logo on top. Underneath is "FISHER communications" and the byline "Based in Seattle" below it.
Variant: Some stations that were formally owned by Fisher at the time (now owned by Sinclair), like KATU for example, didn't have the byline "Based in Seattle" below the logo.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: Same as the first logo, but the jingle appears to be a bit more synthesized and Al Vanik says "Fisher Communications".
3rd ID (2007-2009)
Visuals: Over a computer-like background, the logo starts with some words appear before the familiar outline of the red "F" flag comes into view along with the "FISHER communications" name. Two different bylines are screen swiped below the logo: one is "Founded in Seattle", the other is the NASDAQ listing of the company.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Same as the second logo.
4th ID (2009-2012)
Visuals: On a black background, various items fly past the screen. Years/decades are written in a huge white font and follow a sequential manner. Some of them have objects attached to them such as a microphone, a retro black-and-white television set and a space satellite. As the screen zooms past the first 0 in 2010, there is the similar "F" flag on a black background with a sun rising over a dark horizon (akin to the opening seconds of the then-current Universal Pictures logo). Underneath is the familiar "FISHER communications" byline, "1910-2010" and the copyright information (the latter two in smaller white text).
Technique: CGI.
Audio: The same jingle as the first logo, but a different announcer is saying A century of service and innovation, Fisher Communications.
5th ID (2012-2013)
Visuals: On a black background with golden gradient streaks of light is various network idents rapidly flash by until it morphs into the distinct red "F" flag icon. The copyright year (2012) pops in to the 2 note beat of the jingle.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Same as the second logo.
Availability: The logo was retired when Sinclair Broadcast Group bought the company in mid-2013.
