Background

Showtime Documentary Films is the documentary division of Paramount Global's premium cable channel Showtime.

Logo (July 8, 2016-)

Visuals: Over a black background, the logo starts with the "SHO" circle logo appearing, followed by "WTIME" (in the Showtime logo's typeface), "DOCUMENTARY" and "FILMS" (in the DIN typeface).

Variant: On Zero Days, released in the US on July 8, 2016, the logo simply fades in and fades out.

Technique: The logo appearing one-by-one. [possible misuse]

Audio: None or the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on all Showtime documentaries, starting with Zero Days. This is absent on Filipino prints of The Kingmaker, which can be seen on the streaming service IWantTFC, but is retained on Showtime airings on the US.
