Background

Sometime in 2004, the company merged with Clearvue/eav to form Clearvue & SVE. The company would eventually be folded into Discovery Education in 2007.

1st Logo (1996-2003)

Visuals: On a black background, the words "SVE" write in to the screen in pink-purple. Then, a painted letter "C", in turquoise, writes in. A line in the same color strikes through the center of the screen to reveal "SVE & CHURCHILL MEDIA" panning down.

Variants:

  • At the end of SVE-Churchill's programs, the telephone number "1-800-829-1900" pans down as well.
  • In later years, the logo was given a 3D and enhanced look.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A gentle piano tune.

Availability: Seen on releases by the company. [Examples?]

2nd Logo (2003-2004)

Visuals: On a red-orange-tinted background loop is several video clips (the White House, the overview of a human body, a space explosion, a clip from a Curious George short) pan in from the right. After a few seconds, they fade out. Turquoise sparkles appear, forming the same SVE/Churchill logo from before, only that it's on a white background, "SVE" is red, and the line and "SVE & CHURCHILL MEDIA" text are pink-purple. Below is the website "www.SVEmedia.com" and the phone number "1-800-829-1900".

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A news opening-like theme with a choir at the end.

Availability: Seen on releases by the company, including Numbers: Telling Time.
