Background

3000 Pictures was launched on July 15, 2019 by Elizabeth Gabler as a joint venture between Sony Pictures Entertainment and HarpersCollins in an overall production deal to source literary material and produce film content across all platforms. Gabler was previously the president of Fox 2000 Pictures until its shuttering by The Walt Disney Company following its acquisition of 20th Century Fox on March 20 earlier of that same year. The company is located on the Sony Pictures lot in Culver City, California.
