Background

3000 Pictures was launched on July 15, 2019 by Elizabeth Gabler as a joint venture between Sony Pictures Entertainment and HarpersCollins in an overall production deal to source literary material and produce film content across all platforms. Gabler was previously the president of Fox 2000 Pictures, hence the name, until its shuttering by The Walt Disney Company following its acquisition of 20th Century Fox on March 20 earlier of that same year. The company is located on the Sony Pictures lot in Culver City, California.

(July 27, 2020-)

Logo: On a dark teal background, we see a thin golden-bronze line with lights shoot up from the screen, which eventually expands into more and more lines, almost taking up the screen. The lines form part of the "0" and then a "3", until the lines disappear and come to fully form the text "3000" with "PICTURES" in spaced-out letters below that. The lines disappear as the logo gains full color while lights shine on it. The Sony byline fades in below in the same color as it zooms away.

Variant: There exists shortened and bylineless versions.

FX/SFX: The logo forming. This was done by Imaginary Forces.

Music/Sounds: Starts off with a brief two-note violin piece, which then turns into a rising somber synth theme held throughout as the logo forms.

Availability: Current. Debuted on this Deadline article in July 2020, and later appeared on the trailer of Where the Crawdads Sing and on the film itself. It's expected to appear on future projects from the company.
