Background
Alloy Entertainment is a company well-known for making and producing Gossip Girl (both the TV series, and the book series). On June 11, 2012, the Warner Bros. Television Group acquired Alloy Entertainment.
1st Logo (September 19, 2007)
Logo: On a gray shaded background, we see:
ALLOY
entertainment
"ALLOY" is in gray and is surrounded by a black box and "entertainment" is in black, and below "ALLOY".
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: TBA
Availability: Unknown. Supposedly seen on the pilot episode of Gossip Girl. However, current prints of that episode use the next logo below. Was most likely seen on the original airing in 2007.
Editor's Note: None.
2nd Logo (September 26, 2007-)
Logo: On a gray-white gradient background, we see:
alloyentertainment
with "alloy" in Century Gothic and "entertainment" in Century Gothic Bold with a reflection below, and a four-leaf clover above, with the top left unshaded. The logo shines as the background fades to full white.
Variant: On Significant Mother, the background is completely white for the entire duration of the logo.
FX/SFX: The gradient background fading to white and the logo shining.
Music/Sounds: None.
Music/Sounds Variants:
- On Pretty Little Liars, the start of the end theme plays over the logo.
- On the short-lived show Significant Mother, a shining sound is heard.
Availability: Common. Seen on shows like Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, The 100, The Originals and Legacies. It was also seen on How to Rock and the Disney Channel Original Movie Frenemies.
Editor's Note: None.
3rd Logo (August 7, 2020-)
Logo: On a light blue-white gradient background, layers from the four-leaf clover are seen rotating and zooming out. Once the clover is almost finished forming, "alloyentertainment" rotates in, letter by letter, below the clover. A shadow of the logo can be seen below.
Variant: A short version exists that starts when the "alloyentertainment" text rotates in. The clover is already formed in this variant.
FX/SFX: The clover rotating and zooming out, and the text forming.
Music/Sounds: None or the closing theme of the show.
Availability: Brand new. First seen on the movie Work It (2020), and later appeared on the 2021 iteration of Gossip Girl.
Editor's Note: A nice CGI update of the previous logo.
