Background

The second incarnation of Viacom was established on December 31, 2005, after the original incarnation was split into two companies: one which retained the original Viacom name, and another one which was the original Viacom and was reincorporated into CBS Corporation. On December 4, 2019, Viacom and CBS remerged into ViacomCBS.

Logo (October 11-November 22, 2017)

Visuals: Just the name "VIACOM" in the 2006 font appearing letter-by-letter as the letters rapidly change between various letters in a more normal-looking font.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The closing theme of the program or none.

Availability: Only seen on the second and final season of The Shannara Chronicles.

Legacy: While the logo is respected by some, Viacom's consistent habits of copyright claiming content that has to do with their properties have tarnished the logo for others.
