Logo (February 23, 2024)

Visuals: Zooming out on a black background with scattered clouds and floating, dark cool coloured oil-like particles, there is the text "NITRO MAXIMUS" in a steely font zooming out and rotating with multiple blurry RGB copies following over it. The screen blurs before the text copies become outlines tracing the letters and the screen flashes to white and back to black where the clouds. The text glitches once more where it now becomes a multi-colored copy on top of white duplicates merging with the top copy while facing upwards. The final instance of the logo's formation has it sliding from the top left to center with a glitch overlay in its center. When it reaches the latter position, the screen briefly flashes and deblurs afterwards where the glitch effect disappears. Not long afterwards, the text becomes and RGB-blurred outline of itself, zooms in, and rotates counterclockwise before a blur effect reverses this sequence. For the remainder of the sequence, there are small white scratches and the logo slowly zooms out.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A dramatic, electronic flash is heard alongside the opening theme of the film.

Availability: It can be seen on The Black Mass.
