Background

In April 2017, RatPac Entertainment became a subsidiary of Access Industries with its purchase of James Packer's ownership share. In late 2017, after sexual assault allegations against Brett Ratner surfaced, Warner Bros. cut ties with RatPac, which shut down sometime in 2018; RatPac's operations were then folded into Access Entertainment. Ratner remained as the CEO and co-owner of RatPac until the company's folding. The company recently became a creative division of its own, and also made an investment in A24 as well.

1st Logo (February 13, 2018-March 18, 2021)

Visuals: Two white streaks are seen descending consecutively, the first from the right and the second from the left. A black triangle is then shown opening to reveal a white light, and the name

A C C E S S
E N T E R T A I N M E N T

fades in below. After the door stops moving, it fades out.

Early Version: After the door stops moving, the light shines for several more seconds before the logo fades out. This has been spotted on the home media version of Justice League. This is most likely because the logo is typically shorter than the RatPac logo, which it was replacing.

Trivia: This logo was designed by Pearlfisher.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Two "whoosh" sounds for two white streaks, followed by a deep synth theme. Otherwise, it has the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: It debuted on the home media release of Justice League, replacing the RatPac logo from the theatrical release. It later appeared on The 15:17 to Paris, Game Night, and Ready Player One (the former two as variants). Two years later, it made its final appearance on Zack Snyder's Justice League.

2nd Logo (April 14, 2023-)

Visuals: On a black background, a triangle writes itself in, the bottom line of the triangle moving to form an abstract "A" with the words "ACCESS" in Avenir font with "A" in the same design as the symbol but bolder and the words "ENTERTAINMENT" in Söhne font fades in.

Variant: On The Zone of Interest, the logo is still, and "ENTERTAINMENT" is removed.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: None, or the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on Beau is Afraid, The Iron Claw, and The Zone of Interest.
