Background

Shaw Moviecity is the successor of Shaw Brothers Ltd., after the original company went defunct in 2011.

Logo (2011-2016)


Visuals: Same as the 5th Shaw Brothers logo, but the usual SB shield is replaced with a different one, which consists of two triangles, the right half being blue with a stylized "S", and the other being yellow with a dark gold star. The text is also replaced with "SHAW MOVIECITY".

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the 5th Shaw Brothers logo.

Availability: Seen on their films, such as Turning Point 2, I Love Hong Kong 2012 and I Love Hong Kong 2013. It last appeared on Buddy Cops.
