Background

Peacock Films was an independent production company started by both Simon and Moshe Bibiyan in the 1980s.

1st Logo (September 22, 1987)

Visuals: On a white background, the screen zooms out to see an illustration of a peacock, which is looking to the left with its covert feathers on display, on top of a tan banner reading, in black, "PEACOCK FILMS". The screen then cuts to a black screen with orange text reading "PEACOCK FILMS Presents", with the word "Presents" being underneath "PEACOCK FILMS".

Technique: Simple zooming effects.

Audio: The opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Was only seen on Hollywood Cop (1987).

2nd Logo (August 26, 1989-November 4, 1995)

Visuals: On a black screen is the main body of the peacock from the first logo zoom in from the center of the screen. When it stops zooming in, its covert feathers appear in a fan-opening effect. A banner, which is also from the first logo, then fades in under the peacock's feet. The screen then cuts to a black screen, where the text "PEACOCK FILMS PRESENTS", in white, quickly fades in. The word "PRESENTS" is in the same position as the first logo.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The opening theme of Terror on Beverly Hills or a portion of it. There are a couple of variants: one ends with an ominous synth bell at the end while the other has a jet-like "whoosh" sound.

Availability: It was seen on the rest of their movies, starting with Terror on Beverly Hills (1989).
