Culver Entertainment is a division of Sony Pictures Television as a direct-to-DVD label for certain shows without being aired on a network. Culver's projects were aired internationally on Sony's global networks. However, for the United States, they were on either network, cable, or syndication. They had a film division called Hemisphere-Culver Picture Partners (later Hemisphere Media Capital), which produces the film version of The Smurfs and its sequel.
