Film Eighties

Logo (July 20, 1986)

NOTE: This logo is NOT Nazi-related.

Visuals: The logo starts with a navy blue background, with the top portion of a trident and an incomplete orange circle with a bigger orange circle outline visible. The camera zooms out and lowers to reveal a cobra wrapped around the trident, the letter "F" and the letter "E" conjoined and next to the cobra to the right, and the red Om and the orange Swastika symbol next to the cobra to the left. There is also the white handwritten text "Film eighties" shown below the orange circle.

Trivia: Even though it was adopted by the Nazis in the 1920s, the swastika originated in the late Paleolithic period (the oldest known archaeological record is from 10,000 BC in Mezine, modern Ukraine), and has appeared all across the world, especially in Asia, where it has been used by Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism from the 5th century BC up to today, usually meaning "good luck".

Technique: Camera-controlled animation.

Audio: A swarmandal theme is heard throughout the logo.

Availability: The logo can be seen in Damad Chahiye.
