Background

Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. (NGE) is an Indian film production company based in Mumbai. The Nadiadwala family have been in film production since 1955; continuing this legacy, Sajid Nadiadwala established the company in 2005. The company is a part of the Hindi film industry that is involved in Motion picture, radio, television, and other entertainment activities. Rakesh Madhotra is the current CEO of the company.



1st Logo (March 3, 1995)

Visuals: On a black background, a 20th Century Fox-esque tower is shown zooming in, with two stick figures (one being big, and one being small) and letters "NG" shown instead of the text.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A mysterious synth trumpet theme.

Availability: Seen on Andolan.

2nd Logo (August 23, 1996-February 7, 1997)

Visuals: A camera zooms out to reveal the logo from before, now golden, and on a black background with smoke. Silver words "NADIADWALA GRANDSON" slide in from the right.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A majestic proud trumpet fanfare.

Availability: Seen on Jeet and Judwaa.

3rd Logo (July 24, 2000)

Visuals: The sequence starts off with a spinning purple steel background with the same stick figures in blue. The footage fades to each letter flipping in, and fades to them zooming out and turning blue. Black words "NADIADWALA GRANDSON ENTERTAINMENT" zoom out below.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A descending string instrument, followed by a man singing, and a string glissando.

Availability: Seen on Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega....

4th Logo (August 24, 2007-April 5, 2012)

Visuals: On a black background, various lights wrapped into a ring are shown. The spotlights then turn on and move around, revealing black silhouettes of a man walking and baby crawling. The man then helps baby to get up, and they form into the logo, now in silver. Two white rings made out of lights zoom in, and another light flies in, revealing the company name in silver.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A slow, futuristic synth tune accompanied by a spotlight turning on and a male vocalist singing "Eeh-ooh-ah". This segues into a triumphant fanfare.

Availability: Seen on Heyy Babyy, Housefull, and Anjaana Anjaani.

5th Logo (February 21, 2014-)

Visuals: On a starfield with a half of the Earth shown, the silhouettes are shown doing the animation from before with orange light rays added. The letters draw in and turn silver, along with the silhouettes, and the company name fades in below.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A peaceful synth chime & choir tune accompanied by beeps and a whoosh. A woman singing is heard at the end.

Availability: Seen in its more recent output; debuted in the 2014 film Highway and seen in films such as 2 States and Satyaprem Ki Katha.
