Background

Red Chillies Entertainment was founded, and is currently owned by a famous Indian star, Shah Rukh Khan (also known as SRK).

1st Logo (April 30, 2004-August 8, 2013)

Visuals: On a white-slashed red background, a circle with various numbers on it slowly zooms out until it changes into a camera lens and slowly disappears, being replaced by the text "red chillies entertainment" circling. Above it is a red paint streak resembling a chili.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An orchestral tune that's similar to the third Alliance Atlantis logo that repeated with higher pitch. This is a stock music piece, "Glorious Finale" by Peter Siedlaczek from Orchestral Colors.

Audio Trivia: A portion of the same fanfare can be heard on the 2004 film Main Hoon Na during one of the first scenes.

Availability: Seen on its films that the company produced until 2013 starting with Main Hoon Na, and also including My Name Is Khan.

2nd Logo (October 24, 2014-)

Visuals: There are a lot of shards on a whitish-pink background, later forming a chili. After the forming, the camera suddenly zooms out, revealing more parts of the logo, including the underlined text "RED CHILLIES" with "E N T E R T A I N M E N T" below. Some shards remain.

Technique: CGI by Lambie-Nairn.

Audio: There are two variants:

  • Whooshes through the glasses, ends with a one-note piano tune.
  • A loud synthesized orchestral tune composed by Grant Campbell Bell.

Availability: Seen on movies made by the company from 2014 onwards starting with Happy New Year.
